Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I, send me” (Is. 6:8). A Church Planter is chosen by God for God’s purposes, in God’s time, and place, and service. The one whom God calls, God enables by God’s presence to completely fulfill the call. Any other assignment offered by the world will always be a huge step down!!! The call to plant a new church is not by the will of man, but by the will of God (John 15:16). Jesus, the Lord of the Harvest, is the one who calls and equips New Church Planters to serve where he ordains. New Church Planting is a process that begins and ends on the wings of prayer. There is a need for humbly waiting upon the Lord, and listening in solitude and quietness for God’s direction. This is the power of the call.
