Rick Morse

Rick joined the NCM staff early in 2001. He came to the team from Lake Washington Christian Church in Seattle, WA - a congregation he planted and then pastored for 17 years. Rick's experience with new church planting  and ability to create and communicate a viable vision make him an invaluable member of the team. His leadership has transformed the movement into a vital, God-led ministry of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Gilberto Collazo, Vice President for Congregational Services Gilberto Collazo

Gilberto Collazo, who is an ordained minister from San Juan, Puerto Rico, joined Church Extension eight years ago. In addition to working closely with Disciples congregations in Puerto Rico, Gilberto provides leadership, training and operational oversight for all congregational and loan services and for Church Extension’s anti-racism initiative. He is also responsible for ensuring seamless services to new churches as they progress through their life cycle.

Charlie Wallace, Minister for Congregational RelationsCharlie Wallace

As a missionary in Haiti and Venezuela, Charlie served as a church planter, a coach for six new church projects, helped establish a seminary and worked closely with congregations in crisis. He speaks English, Spanish and Creole which are highly valued additions to the team. Charlie's job entails the interfacing of New Church Ministry with established churches, and encouraging Anglo churches to consider starting new churches.

Ketty SantosKetty Santos, Minister for Coaching

As minister for coaching, Ketty's responsibilities include supporting New Church Planters, creating and maintaining an effective coaching network that involves training and assessment, and providing educational opportunities for Church Planters once they are in their third year of development. Before joining New Church Ministry, Ketty was a pastor at El Aposento Alto Church in Forest Park, Georgia. Ketty is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Sharon Merchant, Executive Assistant for Hope Partnership Services

Sharon joined the team in May 2006. As assistant to the New Church Ministry team, she is involved with the day-to-day operations. As the team travels, she coordinates their responsibilities. She also manages correspondence and staff reports. A long-time Disciple, Sharon brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the NCM team.

Brenda Rossy, Hope Partnership & Congregational Services Manager

Brenda Rossy joined the team in October 2008. As congregational services manager, Brenda is responsible for managing the support staff, Hope Partnership events, maintaining the NCM website and providing accurate recording keeping. In addition to her life-long passion and knowledge of the Christian Church, she has strong bilingual communications (English and Spanish) skills.
